Almost everyone with a major role in Mania has been brought back by SEGA except for Whitehead and Jared (and even then, they WERE brought back for Plus).

Stealth/Headcannon are working on Sonic Origins, Tyson Hesse has become very integrated into the brand, Tee Lopes was brought on for music in Team Sonic Racing, several producers on Mania have gone on to be producers on future Sonic projects, etc. Second, they've worked with tons of Mania devs since.
